The votes are in and the fans have spoken; Jersey Bulls reveal winning design for new kit
Fans of the Jersey Bulls Football Club have chosen the team’s new kit. Almost 600 supporters cast their vote to decide the third strip for the 2020/2021 season. Today the Jersey Bulls revealed the winning design, sporting the brand colours of the team’s gold sponsor, Butterfield.
The winning design was option one, featuring pink collars, a blue body and the Jersey Bulls’ signature bull graphic, gaining 45% of the votes. Option two gained 32% of the votes followed by option four—14% and option three—9%.
Ian Horswell, Director of the Jersey Bulls said, “It was disappointing to see the season conclude early due to the coronavirus, so we wanted to show our appreciation to the fans and thank them for their continued support. Inviting them to choose our new kit was a fun way of keeping everyone engaged and looking forward to the new season. Our technical partners, Kappa, created four great options and now that we know the winning design, we can’t wait to see the team wearing it on the pitch.
Noel McLaughlin, Managing Director at Butterfield Bank Jersey commented, “It’s great to hear the vote received such a fantastic response. The Bulls have helped launch our new branding in a very fun and creative way and we really appreciate their support. We absolutely love the design and look forward to cheering on the team next season.”
Everyone who helped the team select the winning design was automatically entered into a competition to win the shirt along with a pair of tickets to next season’s first home match. Michael Rive was named the lucky winner.
“It is a great looking third kit and I’m looking forward to wearing it to the opening match at Springfield. Come on the Bulls!” said Michael Rive.
The Bulls have placed their order with Kappa and are ready to kick off the new season in style.
